PRINCIPAL REFLECTIONS

           A short message from Dr Jake

Dear Parents & Friends,

“Every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

(Chinese Proverb)

I’m not sure about a single step ... but we are certainly off and running. The children have settled in exceptionally well and all seems to be running smoothly! (Despite the lingering COVID-19 impositions!!!)

I use to have a poster on my wall in my office in my early years of being a Principal. It read -

“Pursue your dream with courage;

prepare your heart with determination.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

(Phillippians 4:13)

Everyone must have a dream to follow. As adults we have dreams and hopes, children have dreams and hopes, as a school community we have a dream. We still need the determination, commitment and courage to follow them and see them through to fruition. It is Christ who gives me the strength and to follow them and make them a reality.

I extend a warm welcome to all of you - new or old - and invite you to take an active part in our school community through working together to provide for our children the best possible Catholic education. I invite you to share your dreams and hopes with us!

COVID-19 Start to the School Year

As shared in my letter on 25 January,  the roll out of the Rapid Antigen Tests for the first two weeks of school was extremely successful. I am very appreciative of your support as we navigate through this next phase of living with the pandemic.

Important that if anyone test positive in your home that you follow the NSW Health guidelines on testing positive to COVID-19 and managing COVID-19 safely at home. Please contact the school if there is a positive result in your home.

If you would like more information or need to ask a question about the COVID-19 rules and expectations, please email covid@arm.catholic.edu.au

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us as we are only too happy to help.

Peace & Best Wishes
