Assistant Principals' Report

A message from Natalie Manser

In the final couple of weeks of term we have provided a very full and meaningful educational program for our junior school students. We have had excursions, assemblies, performances, and incursions for our students. One of the highlights was the Year 7 and 8  Health Immersion Day on the 6th of December where  students participated in specially designed workshops from the Reach Foundation and Big Sister Experience. Feedback from the staff and students has been positive about the content and student engagement in the activities. We thank staff and students for their positive interactions with their peers and outside presenters on the day.

Student Leadership Group

As this is our final newsletter for 2021, I wanted to thank our Student leadership group, for their hard work and commitment to improving the educational experience for their peers. The student leadership group have led many assemblies, have been involved in focus groups, organised fundraiser events, and led initiatives and activities in their areas. They have shown maturity beyond their years in worked really closely with their mentors to create a really positive school climate. We thank them for their efforts.

Congratulations to the School Captains for 2022

One Girl Charity Fundraiser

A big thanks to all staff and students who helped us raise money for the ONEGIRL Charity - a Melbourne Based Charity who raises awareness and funds to support girls in Africa to attend school. On Monday 13th Dec the Junior School Team - participated in the 'DO IT IN A DRESS' campaign to celebrate the $660 we raised for the cause. Here is a snapshot of where the funds go to change the lives of millions of girls across Africa.
