Year 7 enrolments 2021
Parents are advised that if they are enrolling their child into a Catholic Secondary School for Year 7 2021 they will need to apply to the school of their choice by 23rd of August 2019.
Printed copies of the newsletter
There have been a couple of requests from people saying that they would like a physical copy of the newsletter. I am happy to announce that is now possible. Copies will be printed and made available at the office. Please see Julie or Paula.

Silent Auction Donations
Dear Parents,
We have our annual Parents night out fundraiser coming up on 19th October 2019. As part of that evening, we will hold a silent auction. We are currently seeking donations. Donations may take any form, however suggestions include things like this:
- Travel vouchers
- Use of a holiday home
- Use of a luxury car
- Vouchers for restaurants/experiences
- Behind the scenes tours
- Tickets to sporting events
- Professional services such as a spa treatment, babysitting or make up service
- Gift packs
- Bottles of wine or liquor
ALL MONEY RAISED FROM OUR FUNDRAISING WILL GO TOWARDS NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND A NATURE PLAY AREA.

St Columba's Playgroup
This term has seen the St Columba's Playgroup go from strength to strength. Our fortnightly play dates has seen many families being welcomed into our little community creating a great network of mums! Each session has provided lots of new and fantastic activities for little ones to play and explore! The next playgroup session will be on Friday 23rd August at 10am. See the Community News section for Playgroup Term 3 dates.
Science
To finish our time learning about Australian Culture and also as part of Science week a small group of our Chinese students looked at Proteas, an Australian flower. We examined the parts of the plant and how it receives its water and food. Then we drew, labelled and created our own proteas.
