Bat Tennis Report - Grand Final - 13th December

Hi,

My name is Xavier and this is Patrick and we are here to tell you about the amazing bat tennis grand final against St John’s on Friday the 13th.  At first we walked to Footscray North Primary School where all the Grand finals were held, except for basketball of course which will be held on Wednesday the 18th but enough about that, let's talk about bat tennis.

It was a long but not-so-tiring walk.  We walked through the Rooster’s oval, and past the local charcoal chicken shop on Ballarat Rd.  When we arrived at Footscray North we were greeted by all the schools who participated in each sport.

Maggie and I started the day with an awesome game, winning 6-4.  Then Reuben and I won 6-1, and Rylan and Sasha with a really close game of 7-6.  Unfortunately Adrian and Ahmetcan couldn't quite get the chocolates, losing 5-7.  With Footscray West in a commanding position, Kowsar and Maren put the salt into the wound, winning the last game 6-3.

We would like to thank Marco for being the best coach this year, Footscray North for hosting the grand finals and the bat tennis team for trying their best all season.
