A Message from Lisa....

With only one week left of term 3, I'm sure the children are all looking forward to a break.  It's been a very busy term!  Next week is planning week, so the children will not have specialists on the normal days.  Planning days are as follows:

Monday - specialists

Tuesday - grades 2 and 3

Wednesday - grades 1 and 4

Thursday - grades prep and 5/6

Reminder that Friday is the last day of term and students will be dismissed at 2:15pm.

Change to Curriculum Day

Due to the availability of a very important Professional Learning Program for our staff, we have had to change the date of our term 4 Curriculum Day.  The Curriculum Day that was previously advertised for the 4th November will now be Friday 11th October.  I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to families.  If families have already booked holidays for the original date, that is completely understandable.  Please use the code family holiday on Compass for the notification of your child's absence.

2020 Enrolments

We are in the process of finalising our staffing requirements for next year.  If your child will not be returning please let the office know by the end of next week.  Also if you know of anyone who would like to enrol for next year, please ask them to contact us ASAP.  We have already sent out term 4 transition information.

Camps

This term our grade 4 students went on camp to Mt Evelyn and had a wonderful three days.  Activities included: candle making, archery, crate climbing, bush walking, the ropes course and the reptile encounter.

Our grade 6 students returned from Canberra this afternoon.  They had a wonderful time and visited places such as:  parliament house, AIS, war memorial, Questacon, Australian Mint and the National museum.

A big thank you to the staff and parent helpers who attended both camps to give our students such a wonderful experience.  Photos of both camps can be seen on our school facebook page.
