Mid-Autumn Day Celebration

On Friday, September 13th, the Senior Library hosted its second Mid-Autumn Day celebration. This event was organised by our Chinese teacher, Mrs Nelly Wang. Students were treated to a number of performances by both students and guest artists.

Ben, Year 12, played a beautiful guitar solo and we had dancers from Year 7 and a poetry recitation from Year 9. Mrs Wang and her guests performed a Tibetan dance. In addition, we had a guest artist demonstrating Chinese drawing and an explanation of the art of paper cutting by some Year 12 students. The audience was also invited to try some traditional moon-cake.

Special thanks goes to Reuben (Yr. 7) and Mrs Lim, our Junior School Chinese teacher, for taking photographs and videos of the event.
