This Week at the Carlton Farmers Market

Come along to Carlton farmers market this Sunday for the launch of Tenderground

“Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. As a group of friends who share the joys and pitfalls of agroecological farming, we know how important doing the work together is - together is better. 

So when launching our new collective at Carlton Farmers Market we thought about bringing this spirit to life. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with Tom Sarafian of Sarafian Melbourne and Lindsay from Akimbo bakery to bring our products to life. 

Akimbo will be serving a brekky roll, baked with Woodstock Flour, and championing Allt Farm bacon and using eggs from WillowZen (all available for purchase on the day). 

Tom will be serving Tenderground lamb on his famous Sarafian hommus. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to meet you there.”

This week at the market - 

Carlton locals, and those from further afield, enjoy access to the finest seasonal Victorian fruit, veg, free range eggs and meats, olives and oil, honey, nuts and grains, dairy and cheeses, breads and pastries. Bring your own coffee mug and reusable bags to the market, and make a positive impact on our local food system and the environment.

Entry is by voluntary $2 donation - card only. Your donations go towards school projects and, as MFM is a not for profit social enterprise, all donations go back into the running of the market and our food relief programs.
