Hats: Please remember to have pack or leave a broad brimmed hat at school. This is really important on Beach School days as there is no shade available on the beach.
Library: Borrowing has finished for the year so please remember to return your library books before the holidays.

Dates to Remember:

Library days for Grade One students are on a Monday. Please remember to return your child's books each Monday, so as students can enjoy a variety of texts at home and used within their Independant Reading boxes.
Week 11- December 15th- Grade One Publishing Picnic. As part of the students completing a Published Imaginary Story, we will be inviting families to join us for a picnic where students will present and share their stories. All are welcome.

Reminders:

Older Person Inquiry Presentation: While most students in Grade One have bought in their presentation and presented it to the class, some have still not been done. This speaking and listening task needs to be done ASAP.
Homework Books: Please remember that homework books are to be bought to school on a Monday and Friday. Please remind your children to have these in their bags.

Starting next week the children will be bringing home their schoolwork and workbooks. Please make sure that school bags are emptied each day so that your child's bag is not too heavy. A plastic supermarket bag might be helpful to carry some of the bigger books.
