Book Week 2020

This week at St John Vianney's, we are celebrating Book Week! 

On Monday, it seemed that many of the characters that we have grown to love had stepped out of their books and arrived at SJV! Some students dressed up as their favourite book character and other students dressed as a curious creature or someone with a wild mind! 

Unfortunately, this year we were not able to do a whole school parade. However, we were able to organise socially distanced level parades. It was fantastic to see so many different characters!

Happenings in the Library

Throughout the week students are invited to celebrate the theme ‘Curious Creatures, Wild Minds’ by participating in a range of fun activities in the library. The special lunchtime activities include using a green screen to take amazing photos in our costumes, participating in a oook scavenger hunt, examing curious artefacts and completing a quiz about the CBCA shortlisted books. 

Winners!!!

All students who dress up as their favourite book character were  entered into a lucky draw for the chance to win a prize. Congratulations to those students who were lucky enough to win an Adam Wallace book! There are more prizes to be won throughout the week!
