The Finance Office have applied a number of financial credits to family accounts, in response to items and activities not able to be provided in the normal curriculum during the remote learning period caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The list of subjects below have attracted full or partial credits which have already been processed onto family accounts.

Families were recently mailed statements to identify the amount of credits that have been applied.

All further credits in respect to Semester 2 items and activities will be applied to family accounts in December 2020, once the full extent of what hasn’t proceeded is known. Some postponed activities are still planning to proceed in 2020 if Covid-19 restrictions allow.

If you have a credit balance on your family account carried over from 2020, you can opt to apply this towards any charges for 2021. Please contact the Finance Office to arrange this on (03) 9784 9014 or financeoffice@fhs.vic.edu.au

2021 YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE

There will be an assembly held during Period 6 on the 8 December 2020.  This assembly will be held via Teams and will take place in the students’ classrooms. Students will receive their 2021 Work Experience Booklet at the beginning of the class.  We will run through the Booklet.  Throughout the assembly students will have the opportunity to ask questions via the chat function and these will be answered so all the students can hear the answer.  Chances are a lot of other students would have the same question.

In the meantime, now is the time to start having the conversation with your parents/carers about where you would like to do your placement.

I am available at lmolloy@fhs.vic.edu.au if you have any questions at all.

We also have a Facebook group for Work Experience. It is pretty quiet on there at the moment but if you would like to join here is the link Frankston High School Work Experience.  This is a private group so you will be required to answer a couple of questions so I can verify who you are.
