Year 8 Certificates of Commendation

The Year 8 students in this photo, Gianni Cotroneo, Hayden Zhong and Thomas Coorey have been presented with Certificates of Commendation. The award is the most prestigious award we have at the College for Years 7 – 10 and it marks a culmination of achievements over a long period of time for these young men. To be precise, it is only after the accumulation of 16 commendation slips that a student receives this award. 

It is fair to say that these students are well-respected by their peers and teachers. They have distinguished themselves from the rest of their cohort through their consistent academic performance, generosity of time and effort with numerous College events and commendable performance across a number of extra-curricular endeavours.

It is worthwhile mentioning that this is the second certificate awarded to Hayden Zhong and Thomas Coorey in the space of two years.

Normally, these students would be presented with the certificates at a College Assembly, however, since this is not currently possible, I thought it important to share their achievements with the community.
