Semester 2 Examinations

Semester 2 Examinations commence on Friday, 22 November for Year 11 students and Monday, 25 November for Year 10 students. These exams will run until Thursday, 28 November and the timetable for the students is attached to this newsletter and students have been sent a copy via email.

Year 10 students are expected to attend school for normal school hours so that they can complete all of their examinations and study sessions.

Year 11 students have the option of studying at home when they do not have an examination; however, they will need to complete the permission form and return it to Ms Waldron by Monday, 18 November. This form is also attached to the newsletter and will need to be signed by parents.

The school week prior to the examinations is a designated revision time, with minimal disruptions and students will be guided through the process of preparation for the examinations. The Step-Up program, in which students will start their 2020 subjects, begins on the afternoon of Thursday, 28 November.

RIST

RIST will be holding an Open Night for 2020 courses at the Hamilton Campus on Tuesday, 12 November.

This evening will explore the changes to RIST programs in 2020, how the qualifications can be integrated with regular school programs, and the opportunities available to students to continue their studies through both vocational and higher education pathways.

Further details are included in the attached flyer.
