SteamWorks is coming!
Lilydale High School's very own makerspace is opening soon. This amazing space (in the room formerly known as M5) is a place that is all about creativity, teamwork and technology. This is truly a place for ALL students.
Check out these images! A massive thanks to the wonderful staff and student volunteers who made this all possible.

Year 7 Tech Tasters
This year in Technology our Year 7s are getting to “taste” something new - our Year 7 Tech Tasters program!
Every five weeks all the Year 7 classes change their technology subject, so that by the end of the year they will have completed units in each of the technology subjects: Woodwork, Systems, IT, Textiles, Food Tech, Sustainability and Materials & Design.
There was a lot of excitement this week as students started their second tech subject, met new teachers and learnt some new skills!
Below are some pictures of Year 7 ICT work from 7.46. See what you think!
Year 10 Materials

Year 10 Automotive Studies

Year 11 Product Design and Technology

Technology Fees
All Technology elective subjects and all Home Economics junior classes carry a fee to help cover the increasing cost of materials.
Notices will be issued to students via Compass and I ask that parents/guardians please assist the school by paying the contribution as soon as practicably possible.
If you are experiencing any difficulties with this request, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
