Year 7 Instrumental Music News

Tips for parents and guardians whose children are learning a musical instrument;

  • Help your child set up a special place at home to play the instrument
  • Establish a time each day to play
  • Be a positive part of your child's playing time
  • Praise your child for each step forward
  • Never make negative remarks about how your child's playing sounds

GOOD LUCK - Miss McAlister, Mr Fisk, Miss Ventura, Mr McCulloch, Miss Milne, Mr Abbott.

Year 9 Music

Students have had their first experience performing in front of the class.  They have been learning skills about rehearsal techniques, stage craft, elements of music, PA systems, guitar leads and theory of music.

VCE Music

The students have been working hard at preparing their group performance pieces and continuing their theory tasks.

They had a fun lesson on 'Boom Whackers' to help understand intervals and enjoying playing songs in class.  The Boom Whackers are all individually tuned to different notes.
