NEVR Youth Concert
Performance at Hamer Hall
A group of students represented Shepparton High School at the NEVR Youth Concert in Melbourne last week, performing on the prestigious Hamer Hall stage. They performed an outstanding routine of traditional dance, a Haka, a Sasa and two songs from the Maori, Tongan and Samoan cultures, to a packed audience of 6,000 people.
The performance was coordinated and choregraphed by year 12 student, Ree Peric. The applause they received was one of the biggest of the night! Students travelled to Melbourne by bus and train, stayed in hotel accommodation and enjoyed some free time in Melbourne.
