Tutoring

Mrs McDowell is available for tutoring for English for Middle and Senior School students after school hours. If any parent or student is interested, please email amcdowell@bhcs.vic.edu.au 

BYOD Audit

The School would like to make all families aware that personal devices brought to school under the BYOD plan will be audited in accordance with our Cybersafety Agreement. Devices found to contain objectionable or illegal content may have this removed from the device during the audit process.

 

A copy of our Cybersafety Agreement has been included for your perusal.

 

Fiji Resources Needed

The School is actively gathering resources for a school in Fiji.

 

The Fijian school is in need of the following:-

 

  • Old uniforms
  • Textbooks, novels and storybooks
  • Working Laptops

 

BHCS will be sending over a number of these items, but could use your help.  If you have any old uniforms, books or a laptops in decent working order that you would like to send to Fiji, please bring it along to the school, so it can be added to the container being prepared by Mission Ventures.

Lost

One School Jumper (New Uniform), size 10, named - belonging to Raya W in Year 3/4A.

 

One School Jacket (New Uniform), size XS, named on the back of label - belonging to Sam R in Year 8DT.

 

If either of these items are found, please return to their owners, or hand in to Reception.

Important Information for Health Care & Pension Card Holders

As advertised last term, if you hold a current Health Care or Pension Card, or are a Foster Parent, you may be eligible for a Government payment under the new Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund. 

 

 

Payments are $125 per primary student and $225 per secondary student. Please see the information link below for further details and download the Application Form and return it to School as soon as possible if you have not yet done so.  The Department of Education has extended this funding with applications now being accepted until the end of Term 3, 18th September.

Bendigo Bank Student Banking

We would like to remind families that as well as the Commonwealth Dollarmite program, the School also offers students banking through Bendigo Bank. 

 

Banking for your child is as easy as including the money and deposit slip in their banking book, and handing it into Reception Tuesday morning.

Primary and Secondary Students.
