Level 4 News

It has been a great two weeks being able to see all the students return to the classroom. It was really positive to see how quickly the students adjusted back into the usual routine and ready to learn with their peers.

Year 4 have been busy preparing and editing their persuasive speeches to present. They have been checking their writing to be sure it is a strong enough argument to convince people to do their activity they chose. After we have a good copy we will be presenting it to our class. We have also had an exciting opportunity for each student to receive their own book “Surviving Sydney Cove” where we are learning about the Settlers experience on their arrival to Australia. This is really helping to deepen our understanding of this terms Inquiry topic of the First Fleet and Colonisation. During Math we have been looking at division and improving our skill of better understanding division worded problems. To Celebrate Diwali the students got to participate in an online class on Bollywood Dancing, everyone had a blast with some new moves!

Looking forward to another amazing week in year 4. Do not forget being term 4 to bring your hat for outside play.
