Foundation News

We have loved being back at school and we are enjoying learning together again.

It was great to reconnect with our friends during our Teddy Bears Picnic. Students sat outside in the fresh air with their teddies and ate their lunch. They had some yummy teddy bear biscuits too! 

We also did some shared writing about the picnic. We are continuing to focus on capital letters and full stops to make a full sentence. We loved writing about our teddies.

We also measured our teddies using Unifix and recorded it in our teddy books!

During Literacy, we read "Room on the Broom" and retold the story. It was great fun!

We continue to practise mindfulness ensuring we take nice deep breaths and be present in our minds. It is a great way for us to calm our thoughts and get ready for learning.

We got to have some fun with Silly Sock Day! It was great to see lots of colourful and fun socks on display in Foundation. What a great way to raise money for a worthy cause.
