Staffing News

The start of term usually brings with it some changes in staffing.  This week, we have welcomed Mr Robert Gibbon (Mathematics) and we wish him well as he joins our College for Term 4.  We also welcomed back Mr David Allen (Head of Year 8) and Mr Chris Brennan (Religious Education) who are returning from extended leave.

City of Perth's Christmas Lights Trail

Inspired by the small Scottish town of Newburgh which holds a similar competition every year, the City of Perth invited  Year 4 students from Trinity College and children from Perth Children’s Hospital to partake in a Christmas drawing competition.

Three wining entries were chosen, including a snowman by Year 4 student Metha (4B) and over the next month, his drawing will be engineered, manufactured and finally, illuminated as part of the City of Perth’s Christmas Lights Trail on two flag poles outside Council House. Metha, the other two winners and their families will be invited to witness the lights coming alive on the first night of the Christmas Lights Trail – Friday 19 November.

We encourage everyone from the TC community to go on the trail this year and see if you can spot Metha's Christmas light creation.  A special mention to all the Year 4s who submitted entries, the City of Perth certainly had a hard decision to make.
