Let the countdown to being back at school begin! We cannot wait to be doing what we all love, teaching and connecting with our students in the classroom. We are nearly there, so stay positive, keep coming to the meetings, keep up with your assigned tasks, and before you know it, we will be sitting in a circle together sharing announcements, laughing and learning.
Wellbeing
Last week for our Wellbeing Day our focus was Gratitude. Gratitude is one of many positive emotions. It's about focusing on what's good in our lives and being thankful for the things, people and moments we have in our lives!
Maths - Fraction Flags
This term our Numeracy focus has been on fractions. Last week students were asked to create their own flag design that needed to be 1/4 blue. Here are some of their creative designs!
Education in Faith - Prayer through Art
We as Catholics worship God in many ways - in dance, drama and ritual, in liturgy, song and prayer, through poetry, story, art and architecture. As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” The students studied different art works of Jesus and Mary, then worked on creating their own.
