Year 11

The end of term has come around very quickly. Last week saw many of the students sitting their Unit 1 exams. Congratulations on the professional way that many of you approached these tasks. It was also great to see everyone in their winter uniform. As a year level they looked very smart and represented our school in a positive way.

With exams over, it is now time to focus on Unit 2 studies. Students have access to resources in the library (VCE Room) and should take advantage of the extra study guides available. Teachers, together with past students (of excellence), are also available after school in the library.

On Wednesday 40 students and 4 staff will embark on a trip through the centre of Australia from Uluru to Darwin. We wish them a safe and enjoyable trip. Back here at school the rest of the Year 11s will be participating in the “Fit 2 Drive” program which focusses on safe driving.

Congratulations to the following Year 11 students who competed in the “Fun Run" on Tuesday 11 June:

  • Clara McEvoy
  • Chloe Keating
  • Natalie Meyer
  • Llelarni Mitchell
  • Tasha Sampieri

Great effort girls!

Junior SES Volunteer,

an amazing individual

Well done to Katie Walker who featured in an article in a recent edition of the Leader. Katie spends much of her free time doing volunteer work in our community and sets a great example amongst her peers.
