Specialist WebEx Timetable Week 2

It is BEBÉ time for Señorita Irene!

Hola beautiful Sunny families and students,

I hope you had a nice break and you are feeling happy and excited about term 4.

As many of you already know, my husband and I are expecting our first baby at some point in November! We are very excited and looking forward to his/her arrival!  We are also well prepared for our new chapter, which will be filled with lots of baby love and joy, and also nappies and sleepless nights (this last one we´re not so prepared for).

This means, for me, I have to say a temporary ADIÓS/BYE to you all to spend time with my bebé and family; they are going to need me 24-7! Sunshine Heights will instead have Javi staying on with our beautiful school community. He will be leading the Spanish program for me during my absence and he is determined to continue making it fun and meaningful. We both have been very busy making preparations for this transition. I can ensure you that our students are going to be well taken care of and will continue to have an incredible time learning about the Spanish-speaking world with Javi.

I can't wait to share my baby news with all of you when s/he arrives!

Lots of love,

Señorita Irene & bebé

It is also JAVI Spanish time at SHPS!

¡Hola amigos! I am Javi (my nickname for our school community)

I am very excited to continue the wonderful Spanish program at Sunshine Heights PS. Most of you might already know me as I have been working in the Spanish Casa with your children as the Spanish Assistant for 2021.

I know we will miss Señorita Irene so much and no one could ever replace her warm and loving energy, but I am so excited and happy to be able to spend another year with my beautiful family at Sunny Heights having the chance to be with all of you and have lots of fun! I cannot wait to continue teaching your children, using games in Spanish, talking about different cultures and sharing our learning memories with our whole community.

Best wishes,

Javi
