“Draw It Competition” Winner Kate Moloney

Blacktown City Libraries held a “Draw It” competition over the summer holidays, where young people had the opportunity to submit a piece of artwork that was based on a theme, cover or character from a book that they love. 11 students from Blacktown high schools participated in this competition. Blacktown City Libraries posted the artworks on their Facebook account and asked the community to “like” the artwork that they think should win.

Kate Molony (Year 9) won the 1st prize in the social media votes with her drawing inspired by “Coraline”, a novella by Neil Gaiman. Kate won a Gourmet High Tea Voucher to the Cucina Locale Revolving Restaurant Blacktown valued at $118. Congratulations Kate on an amazing job. We are all proud of your at Evans High School!
