LA TROBE UNIVERSITY VISIT

Aspire Early Admissions Program 

This program will open earlier than usual this year - April 19, 2021.La Trobe will visit the college on May 12 to give a lunch time presentation following on with an opportunity for individual consultations on May 17, 2021.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE FORCE VISIT

The ADF will be visiting the college and presenting on the following topics:

  • Benefits of an ADF career.
  • The difference between officer entry and General entry.
  • General entry roles.
  • General Entry technical roles (trades).
  • Australian defence force academy ADFA (this is the Defence force university).
  • Defence university sponsorship scheme.
  • Gap year program.
  • Female enlistment pathways.
  • Eligibility for the ADF (education, citizenship, police check and age).
  • The recruitment process for all ADF candidates.

Federation University will be presenting to Year 12 students this term - topics including applying through VTAC, information on scholarships, SEAS, extra requirements (e.g. folios, interviews), accommodation, pathways (including TAFE) and more.

VIC PATHWAYS TO POST SCHOOL LIFE: A SESSION FOR STUDENTS IN YEARS 10 TO 12

The NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme would like to invite Victorian students with a disability in Years 10-12, their parents and carers to come along to a virtual information session on building skills and paving a pathway to post-school life.

 

This session is an opportunity to hear about NDIS-funded supports and other assistance to help young people to build skills to prepare for their transition, and to support them in achieving education, training, employment and other goals, post-school.
