Premiers Reading Challenge

Parent Phonogram Course

Due to popular demand we will be running our parent Phonogram Program again this year. The three sessions will help you to understand the program as it is run in the school and learn more about the way we teach your child to read and write.

These sessions are particularly valuable for Foundation parents and we also highly recommend kinder and school families new to the school to attend the program. The program will also be open to parents of students entering the school in 2022 and we encourage you to come along and learn about the program.

When:Thursday 29th April, Thursday 6th May and Thursday 13th May

Where: Mount Pleasant Road PS Hall

Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

We ask that those attending commit to attending all three sessions as each session leads into the next. Unfortunately, the course is designed for adults and is therefore not suitable for students or younger siblings to attend.

This week sees the commencement of lunchtime clubs for Term 2. The clubs provide valuable opportunities for students to take a break from playing outside, connect with their peers with similar interests and make new friends along the way! The clubs range from Pokemon Cards club to Chess club to Table Tennis Club. A timetable will be on display in every classroom and announcements will be made to remind students when particular clubs are running.

We look forward to hearing all about the exciting activities that students have been involved in! Which club will your child/ren attend?
