Mask Wearing

Students from Years 7 to 12 continue to be required to carry a mask with them at school; students should keep a small supply of disposable masks in their school bag. They will wear masks at Chapel and Assembly on Monday mornings. Students travelling on buses each day or for sport or other excursions are required to wear a mask at all times while on the bus.

Winter Uniform Terms 2 and 3

At the commencement of Term 2, all students should be wearing correct winter uniform. To check requirements, please see the student wardrobe list on My Aitken or the Aitken College website.

Excursion Permissions

Consent2Go is now being used for gaining parent permission for many student activities. Please ensure that emails from the College are not being diverted to your spam or junk folders. Your prompt response to emails seeking your permission for your child to participate in activities is much appreciated to assist the staff member organising the event. If you have a need to update your child’s medical details, please take care to ensure this is done clearly and accurately.

Medical Management Plans and Epipens

The College complies with “best practice” medical care by requesting management/action plans for all students at risk of anaphylaxis, serious allergies or asthma and conditions such as diabetes or epilepsy. If your child has one or more of these conditions, you will be contacted when their plan needs renewing, sometimes annually. Please assist us by doing so promptly, so that we can ensure we have up-to-date information on how to respond to their medical needs. If a current plan is not supplied then treatment will be according to standard first aid practice.
