Principal's Message

                                                                     Mrs Josie Crisara

Christ Is Risen

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Matthew 8:26

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 16

Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  John 14:6 6

The theme for our Easter Services this year was the activities of Jesus during Holy Week; beginning with the events of Palm Sunday, through to the last supper and betrayal on Holy Thursday, the crucifixion on Good Friday and the resurrection on Easter Sunday. In the gospels there are the accounts of what occurred but really they are encouraging us to follow the ways of Jesus in how we live our lives. By giving service to others, embodying hope in all we do, our learning is that we can celebrate the limitless possibilities of life in God. The image of the empty tomb should bring joy to all who have faith.

Wishing all families are wonderful Easter time. A time for families and friends and renewal.  Also wishing all in our community an enjoyable and safe school holidays.

Alumni Functions

We welcomed back the Class of 2010 and Class of 2015 to their respective reunions on Friday 19 March. There was a buzz of excitement in the air as old friends caught up with each other and shared stories, reminisced about their teachers and networked with each other.  Later this year we will hold reunions for the classes of 2011 and 2016.

Primary School Project

The builder, MelbCon, has been appointed to build this project, designed by Hayball Architects. This week the first sod was turned by our local member for Yuroke, the Honourable Ros Spence, in the presence of the builders and the architects. Some of our student leaders took the member for Yuroke on a tour and explanation of our school programs. This project is partly funded by the Victorian State Government.
