School Sports Victoria Senior Summer #2 Sports Day

On Thursday 18 March students from Years 11 and 12 represented Aitken College in School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division round robin day. They competed against a number of old and new schools around the Hume City Council area for a more challenging day.  The results from the day were:

All teams participated well and enjoyed the day out at sports. Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Hockey teams who had direct entry to the Northern Metro Regionals on Thursday 29 July and the Senior Girls Table Tennis who progressed to their NMR on Wednesday 4 August.

Northern Metropolitan Regional – Swimming Carnival

On Wednesday 24 March 20 students participated in the Northern Metropolitan Regional Swimming Carnival at WaterMarc in Greensborough. Aitken finished in 13th place out of 30 schools by entering 30 individual events and 15 relay events. The competition was very strong with numerous students just missing out on a spot at State Finals.

 

Special mentions go to the following individual medal winners:

 

- Sebastian - 3rd - 50m Butterfly

- Jack, Sam, Sebastian and David - 2nd 4x50m Freestyle Relay
