District Cross Country

On Tuesday 18 May, 58 students from Years 3-6 competed in the Wellington District Cross Country at Jell's Park, Wheeler's Hill. The runners' course incorporates hills, a lake and a little bit of mud and a lot more grass than we run on at school. The natural surroundings provide challenges for the students that some of them may not have come across before and all of our students should feel proud for completing the 2 and 3km runs. 

The competition is of a high level against the 6 other schools in our District and we are proud to announce that 4 of our students have progressed to the Division Cross Country to be held at the same course on Wednesday 2 June, 2021. Congratulations to the following students:

• Cyrella (1st place, 11 year girls)
• Maddison (5th place, 12 year girls)
• Alexia (8th place, 12 year girls)
• Aiden (10th place. 10 year boys)
