Dear Families,

Congratulations to our Year 3-6 District Cross Country Team for the efforts yesterday at Jells Park. A wonderful achievement by all participating students to represent our school. 

We particularly congratulate those students who results yesterday allows them to move into  next stage of the competition.  DIVISION  Cross Country. Well done to:

Staffing News

Kristina Khoo will begin LSL at the end of this week and will begin Maternity Leave at the conclusion of her LSL. We thank Kristina for her work and wish both herself and husband Chris every blessing as they await the birth of their second child in July. 

We are delighted that Sophie Sullivan will continue as  Physical Education / Sports teacher whilst Kristina is on leave. 

Condolences 

Our thoughts and prayers are very much with Carmel Loschiavo and her family. Carmel's husband John passed away recently after illness. Carmel was an Learning Support Officer for many years finishing at SJV last year. 

Walk 2 School Day

Well done to all who participated in the National Walk to school day last Friday. A great success! Terrific that we can be active and healthy!! May we continue with such endeavors!

NAPLAN

The students from Year 3 & 5 have completed their NAPLAN assessments. The results will be sent to you once we have received them. The NAPLAN assessments provide us snap shot data and together with other school data can help plan for improved learning outcomes for both individual students and the school as a whole. .  Well done to all students for their  diligent approach to these NAPLAN assessment.

Thank you to those parents who came along to the Relaunch of the P&F a couple of weeks ago. We had several parents and discussed the purposes of a P&F and brainstormed some ideas of events, fundraisers etc.

2022 Prep Letters of Offer

Our letters of offer to our 2022 Preps will go out via email this week. Please check your emails If you have a child beginning in Prep in 2022, please ensure that you have signed and sent back the acceptance by the due date.

 2021 Fete

Please note that the Fete Committee have made a decision that the 2021 Fete will NOT go ahead this year due to COVID restrictions. I will be
