National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is an annual event that aims to engage children of all ages to enjoy books by creating a sense of excitement around reading. Each year, one book is selected to be read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools,  bookshops and many other places around Australia and New Zealand.  

 

This year's NSS book is Give me some Space! by Philip Bunting. NSS officially took place today at 11:00am from the International Space Station. The story will be read by NASA astronaut Shannon Walker

 

All students were invited to read the story and participate in NSS activities during lunchtimes in the library this week. You can listen to the story here
