First Nations Reconciliation Project

On Monday of Week 5 our Indigenous students participated in a workshop with Toni Janke to begin developing a reconciliation action plan. Students were given the opportunity to share their stories, where they are from, and how they would like to develop their identities within the Clayfield community. We are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with Toni and her two daughters as we work together to empower First Nations Peoples’ voices and perspectives.

Mother’s Day Pop-Up Stall -  Friday 12 May 2023, MU2/Tuckshop Courtyard at Lunchtime

Our Friends of Primary Mother’s Day Stall will be held tomorrow, Friday 12 May. This year, we will be holding a Pop-Up stall at lunchtime for Secondary School students to come along and purchase some gifts in preparation for Mother’s Day.

We have a huge selection of beautiful gifts available and we are sure that the students will find something perfect for their loved ones at the stall.

Gifts are priced at $5, $10 and $15 and all funds raised will go towards P&F and Friends of Primary Group initiatives.

International Food Safari

Our Year 9 Business and Entrepreneurship and Food Technology students are preparing for their market stall day on Wednesday 17 May. Treat your taste buds by being able to visit 7 different countries in one lunch hour to try their food.

Pre orders close this Friday 12 May, but cash purchases can be made on the day. Come along to the Middle Years Courtyard at lunchtime on Wednesday to experience our young entrepreneurs in action. The business venture is for everyone in Clayfield College, from our young primary students through to the teachers.
