Ministry

Jesus and Justice

Throughout this term in Chapel, we have been looking at the theme “Jesus and Justice”.  This has coincided with our College marking Reconciliation Week, and also Refugee Week later in the term.

Thoughout the Bible, we see God’s heart from the poor and marginalised in our society.  We have been thinking about what it might mean to “do justice”, as we live in a world that is not always fair.

A key verse for this, in both Primary and Secondary, has been Micah 6:8 – “What does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, to love mercy and to walk humbly with God.”

Class Led Chapels begin

This year we are looking forward to our Primary school classes each having a turn to lead Chapel.  Our Year 6 students led the way in this during this week, as they ran Reconciliation Week Chapel services for both our lower and upper Primary Chapels.  It was wonderful to see their creativity in action as we joined in worshipping God together.

We look forward to having the rest of our Primary classes serve us in the way, as the year progresses.

God’s blessings to you and your family.
