to Plate
Another great week in the kitchen this week.
We made homemade egg fettucine with a silverbeet and tomato sauce. There was flour everywhere!! Some of us learnt how to chop using a chefs knife and others learnt how to make pasta using a pasta machine.
When we sat down to eat our meal together it was so lovely to hear the conversation about foods that we love to eat and what other dishes we could make together in our sessions.
The sun was out so we were able to get our hands into the garden. We have weeded our garden beds so that they are ready for us to plant some winter crops in the next fortnight.
Team work today was evident and it was so lovely to see each child helping each other. We even found a millipede!!
