NEWS FROM KC

KC have been enjoying reading the story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. We made some colourful caterpillars out of patty papers and wrote sentences about some of the events in the story. We especially enjoyed innovating on the text to make a class book called ‘The Very Hungry Children’. It was fun learning about our favourite foods.

NEWS FROM KS

KS have been working hard and learning all the phonemes (sounds) so that we can read and write. We made a glittery green ghost when we learnt the ‘g’ phoneme and an orange octopus when we learnt the ‘o’ phoneme. The KS classroom is looking amazing with all wonderful ‘sound craft’ that the students have been busy creating throughout the semester.
