YOUTH ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL SA

The Environmental Group at Aberfoyle Park High School would like to give our congratulations to Lucy (Care Group 706) and Tamara (Care Group 7IGN1) as members of the Youth Environment Council (YEC) 2022.

Both students have already become active participants in the environmental group. The YEC provides young South Australians with a voice in key environmental issues facing South Australia, and gives them opportunities to take action to achieve a more environmentally sustainable future for South Australia. Members learn and share ideas about sustainability and receive support to run their own environmental projects at school or in their local community.

I look forward to the ideas, future projects and energy these two will bring to our wonderful group of ecological students.
