Playing Pétanque 

Year 9 French

During our last double lesson, we ran a pétanque competition with the two Year 9 French classes. Pétanque is a traditional French game, usually played on a gravel pitch, often in the village square. You may know it as bocce. 

The competition was fierce! There was cheering! There was some cheeky knocking out of the enemy boules (balls!)

And finally there was a winning team. Félicitations to Max, Jack and Thomas of the Year 9 SEALP class who were the winners!
