Year 7 Thrive

Tuesday 1 August

Year 7 students worked in a team to build a tower made from spaghetti, tape and string to hold a marshmallow.

Emma, Zahra and Hannah managed to complete this challenge in the 18 minutes given to them. Well done!

Year 8 Vice Captain Report

Term 3 is now underway and we already have some exciting events coming up in the next few weeks:

LHS Athletics Carnival - 11 August
Year 8 Summit Camp - 14 August to 16 August
Book Week - 21 August to 25 August

Now, we have already had a few things happen so far.......the 2024 Course Selection - once you hit Year 9 and above, you can pick the majority of your classes.

We have our School Production coming up and it is Disney's, Freaky Friday. The dates are from Thursday 10 August – 7 pm, Friday 11 August – 7 pm, Saturday 12 August – 1.30 pm and 7 pm.

Tickets - 25 Adults, $20 Student/Concession

The location of the production is Lilydale High School – Performing Arts Theatre.

The Year 8 Camp is approaching this term, with students set to journey to the Summit Camp on Monday 14 August. Details are available on Compass.

The adventure camp promises to be an extraordinary and unique experience for our Year 8’s.
