Getting into character

On Monday the Unit 3/4 Drama students went to Melbourne Polytechnic for our solo performance exams. Over the last half of this year we have been working on creating our solos for these exams, where we have to perform a non-naturalistic, eclectic montage of a character's life. We chose to perform a solo from a range of stimuli, and we turned up as anything from detectives to British bakers to country singers, and everything in between. The solo has been a hard task but I'm so proud of my classmates and have enjoyed these last two years of drama immensely. I'm sure we all feel very happy to have completed our solos and are grateful for all the support from our drama teacher Liz Bastian!
