Celebrating the Quiet Leaders

Held in person for the first time since 2019, the Meliora Sequamur Awards Night this week was a very special event, hosted by our Year 10 captains, Alex Qu and Yianna Giorgedakis.

Meliora Sequamur our school motto ‘To follow the better path,’ is an opportunity to recognise the students who have contributed and invested their effort into the community, or who have shown significant personal growth in the past year.  Whether it’s volunteering to help with bake sales, organising community events or bringing home sports titles in the purple-and-yellow, each nominee has been chosen for their own unique reasons. In the words of Alex Qu in his opening address, these are the people who have made the best of themselves; the people that have dedicated themselves to improve the community; the people who we share a laugh with; the people who have been shoulders to rest on and the people who bring the excellent brownies to the bake sales!

Congratulations to the awards winners and thank you to families who attended and shared this celebration.
