Youth theatre scholarships available at St Martins

St Martins Youth Arts Centre aims for all of our programs to be accessed by the broadest reach of young people possible. As such, we offer yearly financial scholarships (both partial and full) to eligible applicants.

Next year we have extra scholarship places available for our Northcote workshops in Terms 1 and 2 of 2024, so if you are living within the City of Darebin and would benefit, please apply by Friday, 12 January 2024.

Proudly supported by the City of Darebin’s Community Grants Program.  See website for more details

Young Workers community legal centre

The Young Workers Centre operates a free, accredited community legal centre for young workers, aged 30 and under in Victoria who need advice or assistance with any workplace issues.

Since its inception in February 2016 the small team of lawyers have supported young workers in Victoria to recover over $2 million in compensation.

Why might a young worker contact the Young Workers Centre?

  • To check they are being paid properly
  • To find out what they should be being paid in the first place
  •  They are experiencing workplace harassment or bullying
  • They have been unfairly dismissed from work
  • They haven’t been receiving superannuation
  • They are being discriminated against at work
