Periods, Pain, and Endometriosis Program (PPEP Talk)

On Monday last week, we were fortunate to have Sam, a Clinical Educator from Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia, present to some students about all things pelvic pain. The 4 students who attended this trial program found the talk informative and enjoyable. This was an interactive session and allowed students to see different types of medication and devices used to treat pelvic pain. We look forward to having this program available to students next year.

Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia also offer a FREE follow up session called PPEP Talk® Next Steps. PPEP Talk® Next Steps is a FREE online session for any student who identified a complex pain concern or would like their caregiver to know more. Students can attend with a caregiver and have the opportunity to ask questions with Gynecologist and Pain Specialist, Dr Susan Evans. Please register for upcoming sessions here (www.trybooking.com/BLDRE). See below for more information.

2022 Wrap Up

We hope the students and staff enjoyed the events that the student wellbeing team hosted and assisted with this year and thank you for your ongoing participation and involvement. Thank you to the parents and families for your participation in the family information events throughout the year. We are looking forward to supporting the health and wellbeing of the school community in 2023.
