Lantern Festival Decorations

Last week, some of our International Students helped decorate the library to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival. Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was a great opportunity for students to make some new connections in the school. 

The library invites you to see the wonderful decorations and celebrate Lantern Festival. Challenge yourself and your friends to see if you can guess all the riddles hanging from the lanterns!  

Bookmark Design Challenge is back for 2024

This is your chance to shine by combining your love of reading with your creative side to design the official 2024 NHS Library Bookmarks. The Library and the Art Committee are inviting all students to submit their design for our annual bookmark design challenge!

Design a bookmark based on literature, in a style and design of your choice. 

• Open to all year levels
• One entry per student and one student per entry
• Prizes for the winning entries 
• Entry forms at the library desk
• Size: approx. 5cm x 19cm – suitable image and clarity to fit the bookmark template 

Entries close Thursday 28 March 2024
