SCHOOL UNIFORM
2024 Uniform Requirements
Students are required to wear correct school uniform every day, including travelling to and from Lilydale High School.
The co-operation of parents and guardians is expected in delivering a high standard of appearance for students.
The School Council has developed a dress code that we believe provides a range of choices for students and is cost effective for families.
Uniform items can be purchased from Lowes in Lilydale Marketplace.
Girls’ Uniform
- Lilydale High School maroon V-neck woollen jumper | Years 7 – 10
- School approved college grey pants with school logo
- School approved tailored shorts with school logo
- Box pleated tartan skirt (knee length or below)
- Light dress – school check
- White blouse with school logo
- White plain socks (no logo)
- Black opaque tights (no patterns)
- Black polishable hard leather low-heeled school shoes (no logo, sneaker styles, brands, stripes etc.)
- Navy soft shell jacket with school logo
Optional
- School scarf with logo (plain black or navy scarves are also acceptable)
Boys’ Uniform
- Lilydale High School maroon V-neck woollen jumper | Years 7 – 10
- School approved college grey trousers
- Mid-grey tailored shorts
- White shirt with school logo
- White plain socks (no logo)
- Black polishable hard leather low-heeled school shoes (no logo, sneaker styles, brands, stripes etc.)
- Navy soft shell jacket with school logo
Optional
- School scarf with logo (plain black or navy scarves are also acceptable)
Shoes - all students
We ask that all families support the school by ensuring that their son/daughter wears BLACK polishable hard leather low-heeled school shoes (no logo, sneaker styles, brands, stripes etc.) every day at school.
Black leather runners from Spendless Shoes are NOT the permitted shoe to be worn at school.
PE Uniform – all students
Compulsory
- Navy cool-mesh shorts with logo
- Navy polo top with school logo
- Tracksuit pants navy microfibre with logo
- White sports socks
- Cap/hat (excluding visors) to be worn in all Term 1 and Term 4 classes
Optional
- Lilydale High School weatherproof jacket
- Girls’ black leggings with school logo
- Students are encouraged to wear mouthguards during all PE classes
VCE Uniform 2024
The VCE uniform is as for the rest of the school, except for:
Year 12 students being able to wear the dark blue polo shirt with school VCE logo as well the dark blue windcheater or dark blue V-neck jumper with the school VCE logo.
VCE leavers rugby tops are also an option for Year 12 students to wear.
Students may also wear the new dark blue VCE shirt and/or blouse.
Year 11 students no longer can wear the VCE dark blue polo shirt with logo or VCE dark blue windcheater with logo.
A new VCE dark blue shirt and/or blouse with school logo and the dark blue VCE V-neck jumper are replacing the polo and windcheater as uniform items.
All students in Years 11 and 12 for 2024 can wear the existing dark blue softshell jacket, as a uniform item.
Support for families experiencing difficulty
Please contact the principal to discuss support that we may be able to provide to families experiencing difficulty meeting uniform costs, including information about eligibility for uniform support through State Schools’ Relief.
