COWEY-SELMAN KOKODA AWARD 

Year 11 students

The Cowey – Selman Kokoda Award is available each year to Year 11 students who are enrolled in a secondary school/college within the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

The award is named after two Yarra Ranges’ residents, Jim Cowey and Geoff Selman who served with the 39th Infantry Battalion in Papua New Guinea.

LHS Year 11 students interested in entering the competition should speak with Ms Mays in the Careers Office.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday 27 March. Entries can be submitted via post or email.

Plant Sale - Fundraiser

To help raise funds for the Cowey-Selman Kokada Award the following PLANT SALE will be held on Saturday 26 February at the Lilydale Baptist Church.

A wonderful variety of plants kindly donated by wholesalers and nurseries in the area will be on offer.

The Mt Evelyn RSL will also be hosting a BBQ while you are there grabbing a bargain for your garden.
