YEAR 9 ADP CHALLENGE CAMP

16 February to 18 February

Last week, students from the Year 9 Athlete Development class, rode their bikes from Lilydale High School to the Warburton Holiday Park along the Warburton Trail (40km) as part of their first camp for 2022.

This camp provided opportunities for students to develop their leadership, communication skills along with their ability to work in a team.

Additionally, students were required to overcome physically challenging tasks (riding and hiking, team-based workout) to advance their resilience when met with adversity.

A big THANK YOU to ex Lilydale High students Zak Kennedy and Caitlin Nobes who spoke to the students about their pathways.

Zak works for Carlton as their Football Operations Manager and Caitlin is a Media Manager for Melbourne.

Special thanks to Chris Darling, Zoe Atkins, Andrew Rogers and Amy Aldred for their assistance during camp.
