CONGRATULATIONS

Aly Hogeboom (Year 12, 2021)

The Creative Showcase is an annual celebration of the creative talents of graduating students from across the Yarra Ranges.

Students applied with images of their 2021 folios and were selected as the top achieving Art students.

Aly Hogeboom our 2021 Visual Art Captain, was successful in her application to be part of this year’s Creative Showcase.

Her work is on display as part of this year’s exhibition running from Feb 4 to February 27 at The Memo Healesville.

About Aly's Artwork:

What are the themes you explored in your artwork and why?

I explored beauty within my artwork because it is such a broad topic within society. Beauty can be defined in so many different way with so many different things. It's completely subjective.

Describe the most inspiring art experience you have had.

The most inspiring art experience I've ever had was visiting the Lume Vincent Van Gogh exhibition in Melbourne. It was an amazing experience I'd recommend to anyone to see at least once.
